We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team Finance. You will thrive in this role if you’re a problem-solver who is proactive and relentless in finding solutions.

 What you’ll do:

• Assist the Controller with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end work
• Maintain Balance Sheet account schedules (Prepaids, Accruals, Payroll Clearing, Assets, Depreciation, etc.)
• Process domestic and international payments, international wire transfers, and troubleshooting banking issues
• In charge of the Accounts Payables cycle (vendor information collection, coding expenses, entering in Bill.com, payments management)
• Process payroll (US & International)
• Help with preparing and booking journal entries
• Experience with employer enrollment with local government agencies
• Substantial experience in reconciliations (cash, liabilities accounts, billing)
• Help with preparing SOPs
• Communicate effectively with leaders across the organization and other team members

 Do you have what it takes?

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of Senior Staff Accountant/Staff Accountant experience in the SaaS industry
• Strong understanding of GAAP accounting standards
• Intermediate/advanced Excel skills, experience with Google Suite, highly proficient/expert level with QuickBooks, bill.com, reimbursement workflows, BambooHR or similar payroll software
• Highly organized and hands-on
• Good work ethic and displays a can do type of attitude, preferably prior experience in a fully remote work environment
• Able to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex accounting issues
• Technical with new software and ideally some background knowledge in extracting information from databases
